KTC at KIPP Jacksonville
At KIPP Jacksonville, our mission is to prepare students from Jacksonville’s educationally underserved communities with the knowledge, skills, habits, and character for success in college and life. While our current schools serve elementary and middle school grades, KIPP Through College continues to support students who complete the 8th grade at KIPP as they climb the mountain to and through college and the competitive world beyond.
How KIPP Through College Works:
Along with the rigorous academic preparation provided by KIPP Jacksonville Schools, KIPP Through College offers a range of services to our KIPP Jacksonville alumni.
In Middle School:
The KIPP Through College program begins by assisting KIPP Jacksonville students and families with the high school placement process. KIPP Through College staff members work closely with students and families for the duration of the high school application and admissions process, with a goal of identifying a college preparatory high school that is a best fit for each student’s individual strengths and interests.
In High School:
When KIPP Jacksonville alumni are in high school, KIPP Through College provides support to alumni in the following areas: academic support and advising, standardized testing preparation, college tours, college admissions and application assistance, scholarship support, and financial literacy.
